For its 11th Annual Big Hike, the Black Hawk Hiking Club visited Hannibal, St. Louis, Onondaga Cave, Springfield, Branson, and Lake Taneycomo in Missouri; the Ozarks; Hot Springs and Little Rock in Arkansas; and Carbondale, Murphysboro, and Springfield in Illinois.
12th Big Hike, 1931
During the 12th Annual Big Hike, members of the Black Hawk Hiking Club traveled to Hell's Half Acre State Park, Grand Tetons National Park, Grand Glacier, Jackson, Death Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, and Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming; Billings, Montana; Black Hills, The Needles, and the Badlands in South Dakota.

In 1932, the Black Hawk Hiking Club visited Cheyenne, Wyoming and several places in Colorado--Boulder, Red Rock Lake, Brainard Lake, Mt. Audobon, Ward, Blackhawk, Central City, Isabel Glacier, Rock Mountain Park, Trail Ridge Road, Long's Peak, Estes Park, and Big Thompson Canyon.

Champlain in Maine; Vermont; New Hampshire; and Niagra Falls and Sarnia in Ontario.
